So I totally wanted to name this blog post “What’s up New York?!?!” but my husband and fellow photographer occasionally censors me. It’s probably for the better. At least it made it into the post itself! We met Kimberly and Rich in Manhattan for their engagement session. These two envisioned a shoot that was close to them – their favorite hangout, their neighborhood, the view from their balcony. I loved it. Engagement and wedding photography is such a personal thing.. I do believe the best images are created when you’re comfortable in your surroundings. We made our way to the Penrose, the East River Esplanade, around Glick Park and then back up to Kimberly and Rich’s building where we found ourselves a nice view of the city. That’s where we met a certain sweet little dog named Penny. Not bad at all! It’s fun to get out of town sometimes, isn’t it? Kimberly, Rich.. thank you guys so much!
